Modern & Pioneer Leagues Plus NEW Prize Wall
We are expanding our Magic the Gathering League offering to include Modern and Pioneer. Our Commander League has always been a huge success rewarded repeat play instore and a goal anyone can reach, a Top final for the end of the League.
How will it work?
Leagues will be 8 weeks long with the 9th week being the League Grand Final, inviting the top 8 players to play a 3 round Swiss Tournament. The top 4 players from this event will take home a cut of the League Prize Pool.
Every game you win or draw adds points to your league score, 3 for a win 1 for a Draw. The top 8 ranked players will be invited the the final (random if tied)
Entry each week will be £6 with £3 Store Credit each player going into the League Prize pool and £3 Store Credit for that nights prizes.
The winner of the League Final will take 50% of the prize pool, 2nd 25%. 3rd & 4th 12.5%
How will the prizes on the night work now?
Attendance and number of rounds make this difficult to be fully transparent but we hope to the following:
Winner 50% of the prize pool, 2nd 25%. 3rd & 4th 12.5%
But as important is to make sure people on winning records get a fair share.
Prize Wall changes
We are seeding the prize wall now and rewarding the top 4 players with a spin on the wheel to win a random card from the wall. We will always make sure there are some great cards available and 1st to 4th all have a chance of winning something awesome! Starting for all events October 4th.

When will all this begin?
Modern is every Tuesday starting on October 4th with the final November 29th
Pioneer is every Thursday starting on October 6th with the final December 1st

Horus Heresy Narrative: Sabhal's Tithe III
At the weekend we had the finale of the Horus Heresy narrative series, Sabhal's Tithe! After two previous events of thickening plot, from a planetary civil war to a shadow-haunted ghost ship, the final act got to the bottom of the mystery in explosive style.

Last weekend we held our monthly Warhammer 40k RTT event!
The players came out with their best lists to take the day, with quite the emphasis on the new buffed factions from the Warzone: Nephlim rulespack!

This was a special event for us as it was our first store championship! Using the new Tournament pack from Games workshop, where a whole host of prizes where up for grabs, including a rather fancy etched glass trophy for the winner!
In the end, the day was won by Peter and his Chaos Space Marine list, using Creations of Bile!

Event Report: Sanguis Extremis Narrative Horus Heresy Event!
We recently held our first Narrative event of the new edition of Horus Heresy!
We had 10 Players come down on the day to complete, Loyalist vs Traitor for the fate of Eidun's Fall!
Players competed against their Traitor/Loyalist cousins in custom made missions that helped paint the picture of the narrative and story of the day. We had such classic match ups as the stalwart Imperial Fists vs the spiteful and relentless Iron Warriors!

Other classic match ups such as World Eaters vs..... World Eaters? With our teams having a loyalist and a traitor part of the legion! They had some old grudges to settle!
In typical World Eater fashion, there are ALOT of drop pods!
The Day in the End was won by the Traitor Forces! With a combined total reaching 111 points to 52 for the loyalists!

Event Report: Heresy Rising Learner Event!
This weekend we held a special event for the new edition of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy!
16 players showed up to complete their training!
The event was geared towards helping our community of Heresy players reach a level playing field of game knowledge, as the veterans of the Long War have had their numbers massively boosted with new players since the Age of Darkness launch.
Helpful plasma backup for when your psykers can't think right.
We didn't have any painting requirements on the day, with the focus being on gameplay and collaborating to get better as a group - but that didn't stop some beautifully turned out models from hitting the table!

The winner was - everyone! But to be fair, John Ball scored the most points across his games while showing us how deadly drop pod assault can be!
