We would like to start off by saying thank you to all of those who joined us for our MTG Modern European Championship this weekend! We had a blast running it and hoped you all had a great time! We would like to say a special thank you to Phil, our head judge for running and doing a great job on the day!

On the day we had a great turn out of 33 players! Enough to play 6 rounds of swiss with a top 8 cut! Players thought bravely to get into the threshold but on 8 prevailed into the knockout stage!

Though with all competitions with such high stakes, only one person could go home with the £150 cash prize and their ticket to Athens for the European Championship! Our winner on the day was Edward! Who played incredibly well, piloting his Heliod Company deck to the grand prize!

All of our top players received a "thing in the ice" with our two top players receiving a foil version of the card!
