Be among the first to fight dragons with dragons and play Tarkir: Dragonstorm before release day. Attend a Prerelease event starting April 4 and battle for your clan’s supremacy on Tarkir. For Tarkir: Dragonstorm, Prerelease Packs come in five versions—one for each of Tarkir’s clans—allowing you to align with your favorite or try them all across multiple events.

Prerelease Structure

A Prerelease is a sealed deck event, upon entry you will be given a kit which contains:

1 Tarkir: Dragonstorm Seeded Booster

14 clan-aligned cards including 1 Traditional Foil Rare or Mythic Rare

5 Tarkir: Dragonstorm Play Boosters

Each Play Booster may contain these cards: TDM 1–286, 292–398; SPG 104–113
1–4 cards of rarity Rare or higher (2: 26%; 3: 2%; 4: <1%),
3–5 Uncommon cards
6–9 Common cards
Traditional Foil Land replaces a Land in 20% of boosters.
1 card of any rarity is Traditional Foil
Foil Borderless Mythic Planeswalker in <% of boosters

1 Traditional Foil Rare or Mythic Rare
1 clan-aligned deck box
1 clan-aligned Spindown die

You will build a sealed deck from the cards you open (Basic lands will be provided) and play swiss rounds against other players who have done the same!

For our sealed events each player gets one participation Aetherdrift Play Booster. JustPlay will the put one Aetherdrift Play Booster in the prize pool per player.

For our BIG Prize Prerelease instead of a participation pack each player puts 2 Aetherdrift Play Boosters in the prize pool.

These are awarded to the players with a winning record (more wins than losses and draws)
