A Song of Ice & Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game is a competitive miniatures game for two or more players. Each player controls one of the Great Houses of Westeros, commanding battlefield units, recruiting legendary Heroes, and manipulating the political stage, in the attempt to claim the greatest prize of all: The Iron Throne. 

The dervishes of Supspeer take the principle of House Martell’s agility to a level. During their training, they learn to attack quickly, strike hard and retreat just as quickly to either prepare another attack or choose a more favourable target. Enemies besieged by them are often so bewildered by the dance of the whirling blades that their reaction is severely impaired. Although dervishes can hold their own in close combat for a while, but only reach peak performance when they keep moving.

Although somewhat removed from the court at King’s Landing, the Sunspear of House Martell wields its influence like a patiently coiled viper. It waits, watches, chooses its moment, then strikes with sudden, shocking speed. Although one of the deadliest warriors afoot, Prince Oberyn Martell’s political machinations are not to be undervalued, nor those of his daughters, the infamous ‘Sand Snakes’. Obara, Nymeria, Tyene, and Elia Sand manipulate their enemies both on and off the battlefield with their father’s same lethal precision. And Prince Oberyn’s loyal ally Harmen Uller is always ready to raise his blade in House Martell’s service.

House Martell's famous Sunspear Royal Guards are few in number but count among the best-trained units across all of Westeros. Their adaptive style lends itself well to both offensive and defensive initiatives, and while their armor is heavier than most Martell units, their physical conditioning allows them to keep pace. As a hard center to a Martell vanguard, the Royal Guards have no match in Martell forces, and their flexibility lets them seize the initiative on the field as the tide of battle shifts.
