The highly advanced SdKfz 234 series of armoured cars are an obvious platform on which to place the latest advances from the German Rift-tech workshops in Dresden. As refinements to the schwerefeld projektor continue to be made, its use on a variety of platforms is a natural result.

The box contains:

• 1 plastic, resin & metal German Sd.Kfz 234/X Puma suitable for Konflikt ‘47 German Army.
• A full-colour waterslide decal sheet.
• A detailed and thorough construction leaflet.

The Puma chassis is capable of mounting heavier weapons than its recce role requires, so the addition of a lighter version of the Schwerefeld projector presents both doctrinal challenges and huge tactical advantages.

The combination of Rift technology on a well armoured, manoeuvrable and fast vehicle creates an effective tank hunter, certainly more than a match for its Allied and Soviet armoured car and light tank counterparts.

The Spinne Light Panzermech, combining the agility of an infantryman with the armour and firepower of a heavily built armoured car.

The Spinne (Spider) speed and agility makes it almost the perfect recce vehicle for close terrain and urban environments. The open-turret allows the gunner/commander to maintain anti-air overwatch and maximises his situational awareness.

The Thor panzermech is designed to enter the toughest urban environments and deal with entrenched infantry. Well armoured and armed it does its job far too well for most opponent’s liking.

Although it is often the Zeus Heavy Panzermech that claims much of the prestige associated with the German Heavy Panzermech programme, it is the Thor that led the way in both design and application of Rift-tech. First fielded alongside the Zeus in April 1946, the Thor was the Rift-tech inspired, original design that was later modified to create the Zeus. Developed to provide infantry in urban combat zones a form of mobile pillbox, the lessons identified in Stalingrad, Warsaw and Brussels were clearly a large part of the Thor’s design criteria.

Armoured all round to protect it from flanking infantry, the Thor carries a 150mm howitzer capable of reducing any building or strong point to rubble. Its 20mm autocannon provides some protection from infantry or light vehicles, but it expects accompanying panzer grenadiers to keep it safe from the enemy at close quarters. Able to navigate the rubble-strewn streets of an urban battlefield, the Thor pushes relentlessly forward, knocking out enemy positions one after another, its lack of speed rarely an issue in the close-quarter battles for which it was designed.

Quick and resilient, these troops are ideal objective grabbers and shock-troops. With the ability to keep up with. and even outpace, most vehicles. Without the hindrance of terrain you can guarantee they can get to their target double-time. Equipped with assault rifles, they can pack-a-punch and wipe out those bothersome back-line units with ease.

In response to improving Allied and Soviet armour a new version of the Pz.Kpfg. V, the Ausf.B 'Wotan', was designed to operate as a tank hunter in challenging terrain. This variant has its turret modified to take the formidable 150mm KwK 44 super-heavy anti-tank gun. With the steady introduction of more reliable vehicle-mounted Rift derived weaponry, versions of the Pz.Kpfg. III, the Ausf.D and Ausf.E variants mount the Schienenkanone rail cannon.

In games of Konflikt '47 the Wotan can be included in any Axis Armoured Platoon or Armoured Walker Platoon.

Contains one resin and metal model

One of the more stable and successful Axis Rift-tech genetic enhancement projects combines human and canine DNA, creating the Schreckwulfen - hulking beasts with a strong resemblance to the mythological werewolf. Utterly terrifying in combat, their howls fill enemy troops with dread.

Contains 6 metal models

No longer even vaguely human, the Nachtjäger are the result of extensive Rift-tech alteration to human generics. It is unknown if the subjects for this programme are volunteers, but their effect on the battlefield is without question. The Nachtjäger are unleashed wherever the fighting is fiercest, inflicting devastation upon the enemy and crushing morale in one fell, bloody swoop.

Contains 4 metal models

The animated corpses of the Totenkorps divide military opinion, as while they are undeniably effective, many Axis troops consider their very existence an abomination, and view them with fear and disgust. The effect they have on enemy troops is even more pronounced, and their sheer resilience to damage makes them a dangerous foe.

The Axis Starter Army contains:

• 1 Warlord Resin Axis Platoon Commander (Exclusive to this set)
• 3 plastic Stahltruppen
• 5 Warlord Resin Nachtalben
• 1 plastic Vogelspinne Light Panzermech
• 1 plastic Panzer IV with resin upgrade kit
• 5 Konflikt ’47 grey Order Dice
• 5 Konflikt ’47 grey Rift Dice
• Waterslide transfer sheet
• Assembly guides

This plastic boxed set gives you 9 multi-part Axis Stahltruppen heavy infantry, equipped with weapons such as the StG 44Z assault rifle, MG 42 light machine gun, and Panzerbüchse 41 anti-tank gun - a hand-held weapon to these behemoths! The kit is packed with extra components, including variant heads, wicked tri-edged daggers, and a choice of five leg poses per sprue for even greater customisability. With so much detail on the models, they’re a great opportunity to show off your painting and modelling skills, and their sheer bulk makes them a great centrepiece for any Axis force.

On the Konflikt '47 tabletop, Stahltruppen are the heaviest Specialist Infantry yet available to Axis players. Capable of shrugging off small arms fire as they advance across the table, and festooned with automatic weaponry, they spell death for any enemy infantry foolish enough to get in their way. Their Vormarsch! Rift ability ensures that, when the decisive moment comes, they will keep advancing - no matter how heavy the incoming fire might be!

As US scientists struggled to perfect the first weaponised application of Rift-tech knowledge, much effort was devoted to an enhanced weapon capable of defeating heavy German and Soviet armoured vehicles. After much trial and error, the Tesla Cannon was fielded on a standard Sherman M4A3 chassis to great effect.

Contains:

• 1 resin M17 Tessla turret and 1 plastic M4 Sherman.

When the scientists leading the Rift-tech Tesla weapons programme offered the US military a lighter and smaller version of the Tesla cannon that had been so successful on the Sherman chassis, the military leapt at the opportunity.

The addition of the Tesla cannon on the M8 gave recce units more firepower and an increased versatility against infantry whilst maintaining enough anti-tank capability to threaten their German counterparts such as the Spinne and Puma.

The lack of recoil in the Tesla Scout system meant very little work was needed on the chassis, although the weight of the batteries has shortened the lifespan of the vehicle’s suspension and gearbox; a worthwhile sacrifice from the crew’s perspective.

US infantry heavy armour is some of the most sophisticated in the world, forgoing some of the thicker protection in favour of increased manoeuvrability and dexterity for the wearer - without compromising on effectiveness! Often used to spearhead assaults on fortified positions, US heavy infantry have earned a reputation for determination and courage.

Fast and lightweight, the Pondskater was designed to replace scout cars in US service, a task at which it has excelled. While lightly armed and armoured, its speed is its primary defence, and in the hands of a skilled crew, a Pondskater is a very slippery customer indeed!

One of the original US walker designs, the Coyote bridges the gap between infantry heavy armour technology and larger walkers. Compact and mobile, and carrying a decent anti-infantry armament, these one-man vehicles are frequently used by US and Commonwealth troops in urban fighting. The Commonwealth Guardian variant is particularly specialised for this purpose, carrying a lethal flamethrower for use against dug-in enemies.

Evolving as a dedicated light support walker for Airborne troops, the Jackal combines manoeuvrability and reliability with a powerful set of repulsorlifts, enabling it to quickly redeploy across the battlefield. Lightly armed but able to get to where it’s needed, US troops greatly appreciate the Jackal in tough situations.

Designed to lay down a withering barrage of automatic firepower, the Kodiak is based on the proven Grizzly chassis. Combining autocannon and machine guns, it can shred enemy infantry and light vehicles with ease, and is well-liked by US troops for its ability to deal with these threats in a hail of lead.

The United States Starter Army contains:

• 1 Warlord Resin United States Platoon Commander (Exclusive to this set)
• 12 plastic Firefly Airborne Infantry
• 2 plastic M2A5 Linebacker Jump Walkers
• 1 plastic M5 Stuart with resin upgrade kit
• 6 Konflikt ’47 olive Order Dice
• 6 Konflikt ’47 green Rift Dice

The detail on these models is staggering, allowing you to go all-out with your painting and create a unit that looks truly impressive on the tabletop.

On the Konflikt '47 tabletop, Fireflies are some of the best Specialist Infantry available to an American player. With superb tactical mobility, courtesy of their Regroup in Hell! Rift ability, and armed with their signature M1X Thompsons, they can get in, hit hard, and get out again. Just make sure to keep these unarmoured troops away from anti-infantry weapons!
