The House Mormont She-Bears are powerful warriors from Bear Island that can reduce the resolve of their enemies while keeping their own.

Tactical Points: 

• The War Cry Order is a reliable way of placing Condition tokens on enemy units.
• As the Mormont She-Bears lose ranks in their unit, they can still keep up to the fight with the bonus to Hit from their resolute strikes.
• The Mormont Veteran attachment is also a great addition to the unit as they will increase in defensive capability as they lose ranks.

With the death of Robert Baratheon, many have put in claims to be the next rightful person to sit on the Iron Throne. For House Baratheon, two people have made that claim. Both of Robert’s brothers, Stannis and Renly, have each decided it is their turn to rule. This has torn House Baratheon in two as half has thrown in with Stannis while the other half backs Renly. With House Baratheon’s great resources, each still has a chance to be the next to rule from King’s Landing. The Baratheon Attachments #1 box set for the A Song of Ice and Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game gives House Baratheon players a host of new options when they’re building their armies, whether it’s for Stannis or Renly. Some of the Unit Attachments will work for both brothers, while others can only be added to particular forces. Either way, these new options will bolster House Baratheon’s already well-equipped troops, making their armor tougher, their speed faster, or letting them last even longer on the battlefield.

House Baratheon is a house divided. Both Renly and Stannis are looking to take over for their deceased brother, Robert, on the Iron Throne. But only one will succeed. For King Renly, one of the many tools in his arsenal are the Riders of Highgarden, thanks to his alliance with House Tyrell through Lady Margaery. Though more lightly armored than many heavy cavalry units in Westeros, the Riders still create a formidable force when baring down on an enemy with their lances during one of their legendary cavalry charges.

The Riders of Highgarden box set for the A Song of Ice and Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game gives House Baratheon players in support of Renly Baratheon a new cavalry unit to field on the tabletop. Though moderately armored, the Riders are well trained in the use of their cavalry lances. During a charge, they use them to devastating effect, skewering enemy troopers left and right, the enemy’s own armor seemingly useless against such a powerful attack.

House Baratheon is well known for equipping their troops in some of the heaviest armor found on the battlefields of Westeros. While other Houses might also do this for their frontline combat troops or heavily-barded cavalry, House Baratheon’s zeal for heavy armor even extends to their support units. The R’hllor Lightbringers are some of the most heavily armored archers that will take to the field. Though most enemies are more concerned with the flaming arrows they fire rather than the armor they’re wearing. The R’hllor Lightbringers unit box for the A Song of Ice and Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game gives House Baratheon players a new ranged unit to add to their forces. Loyal to Stannis Baratheon, they are some of the most heavily armored ranged units in the game. And their flaming arrows are certainly to not be overlooked, either.

Lannister Faction Pack

House Baratheon is a House divided. However, even at only partial strength, they can field an army that’s more than a match for any other force in Westeros. The Rose Knights are King Renly’s finest warriors. Their armor may seem simply ceremonial, but it is made of the strongest steel, and the soldiers that wear that armor are likewise as tough and dedicated to seeing their King on the Iron Throne. The Rose Knights unit box for the A Song of Ice and Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game gives House Baratheon players a new, hardy unit on the battlefield. The Rose Knights will only fight for King Renly, but when they take the field, their strong melee attacks and ability to restore wounds while simultaneously dealing them to the enemy makes them a difficult unit for opposing players to fully wipe out.

The crew of Silence, a ship of the Greyjoy fleet, is made up of mutes with extraordinary martial prowess.

The Stormcrow mercenary company is well known throughout all of Westeros for their love of money. When hiring them to fight their battles, the different Houses know how to get the best out of them: simply offer them more coin. The Dervishes are one of the most prized items on the mercenary's menu, being their most veteran skirmishers, ready to fight hard for a price.

The Stormcrow Dervishes unit box for the A Song of Ice and Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game gives commanders a new melee unit that they can add to their ranks. Being a Neutral unit, most factions can bring them to the table. With moderate speed, they can make their way quickly to the enemy, where they are the masters of hit-and-fade tactics. They are quite adept with their pair of long knives, hitting reliably and throwing a large number of dice. Like other Stormcrow units, when targeted by the Wealth space on the Tactics Board, they can make a free Attack, making this unit even more deadly.

The Queen’s Men aren’t named necessarily for their dedication to Queen Selyse. Instead, it refers to their conversion to the R’hllor faith. And while many might be concerned that their true loyalties lie with the Red Priestess, for the time being, they are just as willing to head to battle in service of Stannis Baratheon. In time, their true nature might come to light. The Queen’s Men unit box for the A Song of Ice and Fire: Tabletop Miniatures Game give House Baratheon players a new melee-based option on the battlefield. Loyal to the older Baratheon brother, Stannis, they are clad in heavy armor and armed with longswords. Their conviction will potentially keep them on the battlefield when others might succumb to their wounds.
